We see it in all the movies. The lovable loser gets fed up and runs away from his mundane, sad existence and embarks on the greatest journey of his life. You know those moments. When you almost completely stop giving a fuck? Those moments when you mutter “If that son of a bitch says one more goddamned thing to me” or when you’re walking around just daring the world to fuck with you? Where one more damn thing will send you into the nonchalant give no fucks attitude and you just take off, running away from your things and the people in your life and all your problems and who you are? That kind of running where it’s almost like you’re trying to outrun yourself, feet barely keeping stride? Only problem is, real life is not like the movies.
